Can I share dating story that's not really internet related? I was at the public library one morning back in February checking my email (the days before I had a computer at home) and the cute guy sitting next to me started talking to me. He asked for my phone number and asked if he could take me out sometime.

We had a couple of short conversations on the phone and agreed to meet for breakfast a couple of days later. His car was in the shop, so I had to pick him up. At the restaurant, he brought in a 20 oz coke and after I ordered my meal, he told the waitress he wasn't hungry. He wanted to "watch me eat". I felt very uncomfortable! To top it off, when I tried talking to him, he gave very vague answers. Sample conversation "Where did you go to high school?" his response "Somewhere around here". "When is your birthday?" His response, "I don't recall right now". An intellectual he wasn't! He fits that "cute but stupid" category. To top off the date, he doesn't offer to pay for the meal he wanted to watch me eat and I had to eat because I lost my appetite. I have to drive his stupid ass back to his house, the twenty minute drive back he is telling me that he likes it when women bite him when they blow him. (That should be easy to find.) I was never so relieved to get rid of someone! But that isn't the end of the story.

Three months later the guy calls me- I had not been in touch with him in anyway after that one date. He calls me after three months so I don't think he's a jerk or anything. (I don't have to think it, I know it). I told him that I was busy and had moved on in my life. He said "Oh, Okay" and I hung up. Guess who called last night? Its been about three months now. He called to "Wish me a Happy Holiday" and to find out if I was seeing anyone. Actually I have been sitting by the phone waiting on him to call me. That's all I need a guy that calls every three months and can't think of a thing to say after "hello". I guess he will be calling me again in time to invite me to a valentine's dance next.
